Points & MilesFlying Blue July 2026 Promo: 25% Off Economy to Europe from Toronto, Montreal & Ottawa
Flying Blue is the loyalty program for Air France and KLM. Members earn miles when flying or through partners, and those miles can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and other perks.
One of the most valuable parts of the program is the monthly Promo Rewards, which offer discounted award tickets on select routes. New Promo Rewards go live on the first day of each month, with discounts of up to 25 percent.
For July, three Canadian cities are featured with 25% off Economy awards to Europe: Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. The Toronto and Montreal deals are open to all Flying Blue members, while the Ottawa deal is an Extra Exclusive, meaning you need a Flying Blue Extra membership to book it. We'll explain how that works below.
These July Promo Rewards must be booked by July 31, 2026, for travel through December 31, 2026, subject to availability.

July 2026 Promo
This month, three Canadian departure cities are featured with a 25% discount on Economy awards to Europe:
- Toronto to Europe: 25% off in Economy
- Montreal to Europe: 25% off in Economy
- Ottawa to Europe: 25% off in Economy (Flying Blue Extra members only)
As an example of the value, an Economy reward to Europe that would normally start around 25,000 miles one way drops to roughly 18,750 miles one way at a 25% discount. Exact pricing depends on the route and travel date, so confirm the numbers on the Air France website before booking.
All three are strong options for anyone looking to reach Europe without burning through a large chunk of their points balance. The Toronto and Montreal deals can be booked by any Flying Blue member, while the Ottawa deal is reserved for Flying Blue Extra subscribers.
Flying Blue Extra
To access the Ottawa deal, you'll need to be a Flying Blue Extra member. Flying Blue Extra is a paid annual membership designed for frequent Air France and KLM flyers. It provides benefits such as:
- Access to Extra Exclusive Promo Rewards
- Bonus miles on paid flights
- A set number of lounge passes each year
If you fly Air France or KLM regularly, the Extra program can quickly pay for itself and unlocks more opportunities to use your miles for valuable long-haul flights.
How Flying Blue Reward Tickets Work
Flying Blue Promo Reward tickets are easy to use but have a few conditions:
- Tickets must be booked directly by Flying Blue members and are payable in miles. They can be booked for anyone and used on Air France, KLM, and Flying Blue partner airline flights.
- Reward flights do not earn miles, Experience Points (XP), or elite credit.
- Taxes and carrier surcharges are not covered by miles and must be paid separately.
- Promo Reward tickets carry up to a 25% discount, are released on the first of each month, and are subject to availability.
For families travelling with infants, or minors travelling alone, it is best to contact Flying Blue Customer Service before booking.
A Tip for Canadians
Short on miles? If you collect American Express Membership Rewards points, Flying Blue is a flexible redemption option. Points transfer to Flying Blue at a 1:1 rate, which makes topping up your balance simple and puts these Promo Rewards within reach for a lot more Canadians.
It's a handy way to close a small gap in your account without waiting to earn the miles the slow way, especially when you've already found award availability on the route you want.
The Bottom Line
Economy awards to Europe at 25% off from Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa make July a good month to put your Flying Blue miles to work. Toronto and Montreal are open to every member, and the Ottawa deal is there for Flying Blue Extra subscribers who want to unlock it.
Availability is limited and Promo Rewards refresh at the start of each month, so if Europe has been on your radar, it's worth acting quickly to lock in your seat.
